British Journal of Photography – International Photography 2012
The British Journal of Photography International Photography Award has no theme. Photographs can be captured in any format, film or digital, and can be of any style or genre. Anyone can enter, amateur or professional, from the UK or abroad.
Eligibility: Open to all
Entry Fee: £5 Single image / £25 series
The Award consists of two separate categories – one recognising a coherent series, the other a stunning single image. Photographers are welcome to enter both categories and to enter more than one series or image to win a framed, printed exhibition at London’s Foto8 Gallery.
The winners will receive a two-week exhibition at Foto8 Gallery this November, including a private view. This exhibition will include both the body of work and the single image. Foto8′s space is one of the UK’s leading photography galleries, and is based in London’s East End creative hub
Copyright: No copyright is transferred to the BJP or Foto8 in respect of any works entered or accepted. Each entrant will be deemed to warrant they own the entire copyright for the work or that they have permission from the licensee and/or copyright owner/s for the uses and that all necessary model releases and clearances have been obtained
BJP and Foto8 reserve the right to display, reproduce and publish in any media, any entry, without payment, for the sole purpose of the BJP International Photography Award and exhibition – this year and in future – and its promotion and publicity.
